We really needed a picture of Shepherds Purse or Capsella bursa-pastoris to be price. I looked high and low on the internet for seeds to buy so I could grow some to photograph and use. In depseration I posted on Freecycle, saying "WANTED Shepherds Purse" well would you believe a kind gardener tipped me off about where I could get some. So there I was on the curb of the street, yanking at Shepherds Purse branches. It has gone to seed sto I'll be collection those and growing them. Its a fascinating little plant. Each heart shaped "purse" hold many seeds which split open to shed them. I look all over the local country side but couldn't find it. It seems to be abundant in built up areas. Quite ironic really
