Porridge for depression, or for when your just a bit glum

Serves 1, this is the microwave version

Ingredients
1 cup of porridge oats (preferably organic)

1/2 cup of water or milk

Pinch of salt

Chosen topping (sugar, yogart, jam, honey etc.)

 

Method

  1. Add oats and liquid to a microwavable bowl
  2. Microwave on full power for 2 minutes then stir well
  3. Microwave on full power for a further 2 minutes
  4. Add a pinch of salt and stir well.
  5. Add a topping of your choice

Microwave cooking times may vary

 

Dosage: 
A bowl of porridge when needed
